“In the service of beauty” is the slogan of a facade restoration company.
The site specific installation echoes both the imminent refurbishment and gentrification of the house and the artist as worker, whose production may entertain ambivalent relationships with the questions of aesthetics. Palazzina is a Basel art space, artist house and collective located in a former children's psychiatric hospital. The renovation of the house forces its occupants to soon relocate.
